The annual Dance Recital is a celebration of our dancers’ passion and an exciting display of the skills they learn during class time.
Students learn stage skills and dance routines during class time throughout the year. During the Dance Recital, they perform in costume on the big stage for family and friends!

You & Me Performance Dance
The You & Me dance is our beloved family performance in the recital, an unforgettable moment where parents, guardians, or special family members get to step on stage and share a choreographed dance with their dancer. (Yes… it’s every bit as precious as it sounds!)
If you’d like to participate, be sure to complete the blue registration form at your studio’s front desk! This is an additional class that your dancer and you (or another family member) will attend together on Saturdays in April and May.
Once registration closes, you’ll receive an email with class times and all the details you’ll need. Spaces are limited, and excitement is high, so don’t wait!

The dance recital fee covers facility rentals, dancer costumes, and staffing for the event. Plus two complimentary tickets for the dancer’s family! (Your dancer does not need a ticket.)

A few weeks after registration closes, you will receive a confirmation email with your dancer’s group and performance times for the dress rehearsal (6/5) and dance recital (6/6).

We do our best to keep showtimes between 60 and 90 minutes on the big day.

As we get closer to the performance weekend, you’ll receive email communication letting you know about tickets, what your student should wear, and what to expect.

Yes. All dancers performing in the recital are required to participate in dress rehearsal.
This is an especially great time for our younger dancers to go through the stage entrance/exit procedure with their teacher and perform under the stage lights.
Many dancers who are nervous during rehearsals shine on performance day because they know what to expect!

Tickets will be available for purchase approximately one month before the dance recital. For security reasons, tickets are only sold to parents/guardians on the family portal.

You are able to sign up for the ‘You & Me’ dance without signing up for your class dance, however you must be enrolled in classes at Heart & Soul Kids to participate.

No! Since we are a year-round facility, classes run all summer long. Dancers are not automatically dropped after Recital ends.
(Reminder: tuition is non-refundable after it processes for the month.)
