Dance classes offer fun, exercise, and enrichment for children of all ages. Ballet

Ballet is a refined dance style that can trace its origins all the way back to the 15th century. Classical ballet got its start in Italy, where dancers received extensive training and lessons. In fact, the term “ballet” comes from the Italian term for masked balls, where dancers would entertain the elite nobility. Throughout the centuries, ballet has evolved to become one of dance’s most popular art forms.

Jazz

The jazz dance style originated during the first half of the 20th century, when the music genre of the same name rose to popularity. The swinging rhythm of jazz encouraged dancers to create new forms of expression with their feet and bodies. Some popular jazz styles evolved into the fox-trot, shimmy, and Charleston.
